What Makes Us Different

India’s Most Experience-Driven CPL/CHPL Ground School

At Shockwave Aviators, your preparation is built on a foundation that no other ground school in India can offer. Military precision, regulatory authority and operational flight experience — all in one classroom. This is what structured DGCA curriculum training looks like when the people teaching it have actually lived it.
  • Indian Air Force Veterans: Decades of operational flying discipline brought into the classroom, blending just the right amount of military flavor with commercial requirements.
  • Active Airline Captains: Real cockpit experience from pilots currently flying commercial routes — keeping you hooked with the latest happenings in day-to-day aviation.
  • DGCA Curriculum Aligned: Every subject, every topic, every mock test built precisely around the DGCA examination standard — nothing more, nothing less.
  • Structured Exam Preparation: A methodical, subject-by-subject preparation system, vetted and validated from at least three different sources.
  • Mentor-Led Training: Guidance that goes beyond the syllabus — from people who have navigated this profession at its highest level.
Why Choose Us

The Shockwave Difference

Six reasons why serious CPL aspirants choose Shockwave
Aviators over every other ground school in India.

IAF Veteran Mentorship

Our core faculty are Indian Air Force veterans with decades of operational flying experience. The discipline, depth, and real-world perspective they bring into the classroom is something no conventional ground school can replicate.

Airline Operational Exposure

Your Instructors are a perfect blend of modern and traditional. Young blood combined with arline captains who fly commercial routes bring live operational knowledge into every session, connecting theory directly to the cockpit.

Structured DGCA Preparation

Every class, every mock test, and every revision session is built around one outcome — clearing your DGCA exams with confidence. No detours. No guesswork. Just structured, exam-focused preparation.

Technical Conceptual Learning

We do not teach you to memorise answers. We teach you to understand aviation. Every concept is explained from the basic principles — so what you learn in the classroom stays with you in the cockpit.

Beyond the Classroom

We Walk With You Through Every Step Not Just the Theory

Shockwave Aviators supports you beyond academics — guiding
you through DGCA procedures, medicals, exam strategy, and structured
mentorship throughout your CPL journey.

Five Subjects. One Structured Path to Your CPL.

Every subject is taught by instructors with direct operational experience in that domain — not just academic knowledge of it.

  • Air Navigation: Master the principles of flight planning, position fixing, navigation systems, and airspace operations. Taught by pilots who have navigated those very routes and airspaces in real conditions.
  • Air Regulations: DGCA rules, ICAO standards, civil aviation law, and operational procedures — explained with real-world context by instructors who have applied and examined these regulations professionally.
  • Aviation Meteorology : Understand weather systems, atmospheric science, and their direct impact on flight operations. Taught by aviators who have flown through the conditions your textbook describes.
  • Radio Telephony — RTR(A) : Standard phraseology, communication procedures, and RTR exam preparation — delivered with the precision and clarity that aviation communication demands.
  • Technical General : Aircraft systems, powerplant, airframes, instrumentation, and aviation engineering fundamentals — explained with technical depth and practical clarity by qualified aviation professionals.

From Registration to Examination

Getting your CPL involves more than clearing exams. Shockwave Aviators guides you through the full process.

  • DGCA Computer Number Guidance: Your DGCA Computer Number is the first administrative step every aspiring pilot must complete before registering for exams. We walk you through the entire process — paperwork, portal, and registration.
  • Class 1 and Class 2 Medical Support : Aviation medicals can feel daunting for first-time applicants. We guide you on what to expect, how to prepare, and how to navigate the DGCA medical clearance process with confidence.
  • Study Planning : Every student gets a structured study plan built around their learning pace, exam timeline, and subject strengths. No guesswork — just a clear roadmap from day one.
  • Mentorship Support : Direct access to your instructors beyond classroom hours. Questions, doubts, exam anxiety — your mentors are available and approachable throughout your preparation.
  • Exam Strategy : Knowing the subject is one thing. Knowing how to perform in the exam hall is another. We prepare you for both — with mock tests, time management training, and exam-specific strategy sessions.
